In March, WTS Sacramento observed Women’s History Month. In the US, Women’s History Month was first established in 1987, and has been celebrated nationwide during the month of March to recognize and honor the unique contributions by women to the Nation’s history. March 8th marks International Women’s Day, which denotes a day for the global celebration of women’s achievements and the observance of the annual campaign theme. This year’s campaign theme focuses on breaking the bias and promoting a diverse and gender-equal world.
As the leading organization for supporting women in transportation within the Greater Sacramento Region, WTS Sacramento is committed to providing resources to engage, educate and empower our members through our Chapter programs and events.
