Members of WTS International receive the following benefits:
Networking
WTS Sacramento provides networking opportunities for all sectors of the transportation industry through our monthly lunch events hosted by local transportation experts discussing the latest topics within the Sacramento region and beyond. We also host multiple member-exclusive receptions throughout the year with local top-notch executive leaders. WTS members are also able to access the Membership Directory which connects you with more than 5,000 WTS members internationally. Another benefit is the TransPortal: a professional networking forum provided exclusively to WTS members in order to collaborate on projects and engage in dialogue with other members.
Professional Development
Two member exclusive professional development workshops are hosted by WTS Sacramento annually. Our professional development workshops encompass a variety of personal and career-focused topics such as stress management, leadership skills, communication tactics, project management, and even self defense! WTS International also conducts a prestigious mid-career leadership program and an executive leadership program annually. These programs are the first of their kind for the transportation industry and have been created by an expert team of professionals. These programs are geared towards women with promise for higher levels of responsibility and leadership and were created to help these women advance within the industry.
Mentorship
Annually, WTS Sacramento offers a member exclusive mentorship program developed to benefit both the mentee and mentor! Benefits for the mentor include sharing career hardships and success stories with both their mentees and other mentors within a small group setting. Mentees gain the knowledge and wisdom from the executive level mentor they are paired with over the course of this 9 month program. To find out more information about the Mentor Program, click HERE.
